Stender, Culver Announce Major Funding for Danville Project

July 17, 2026

HARRISBURG – Rep. Michael Stender (R-Montour/Northumberland) and Sen. Lynda Culver (R Columbia/Montour/Northumberland/Snyder/Luzerne) announced today that $2 million was awarded to Prime PA LLC for their Danville Industrial Distribution Center. This funding comes from the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP).

The RACP program, overseen by the Pennsylvania Office of the Budget, allocates state-funded capital grants for economic, civic, cultural, recreational, and historical improvement projects that demonstrate strong regional impact and generate substantial employment and tax revenue.

This funding will support the rehabilitation of two warehouses located in Danville Borough. Warehouse 1 will expand to include a three-sided shed for projects. Warehouse 2 will be renovated through a building extension that will include offices, mezzanine space, restrooms and support for related site work.

“This funding will be part a major economic upgrade for Montour County,” said Stender. “The rehabilitation and renovation of these warehouses will allow Sherwood Lumer to be operational in Danville, which will increase job opportunities in sectors like trucking and industrial work. This will bring big benefits back to our community and provide opportunity for my constituents across the 108th District.”

"Revitalizing existing industrial properties helps attract new investment while creating good-paying jobs close to home,” said Culver. “This project will breathe new life into an underutilized site and strengthen Danville's role as an important hub for manufacturing, distribution and transportation."

RACP projects are state-funded projects that cannot obtain primary funding under other state programs.
