Stender Invites Seniors to Play, Learn at Fraud Bingo Event

HARRISBURG – Rep. Michael Stender (R- Montour/Northumberland) is inviting seniors from the 108th District to a free and educational event on how to protect themselves against scams targeting older Pennsylvanians.

Fraud Bingo will be held Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 1 p.m. at the Degenstein Community Library, 40 S. Fifth St., Sunbury.

“This event is a fun, engaging way for seniors to learn about common scams and how to avoid becoming a victim,” said Stender. “It is part of my ongoing work to keep our community informed and safe.”

Attendees will learn warning signs, prevention tips and what to do if they believe they are being targeted while playing bingo.
