MILTON – State Rep. Michael Stender (R-Northumberland/Montour) is inviting residents of the 108th District to an Energy Savings Fair on Thursday, Sept. 26, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Christ Wesleyan Church, 363 Stamm Road in Milton.

This free and new event is designed to help residents learn about ways to save on their utilities. Representatives from the PA Public Utility Commission, Central Susquehanna Opportunities, PPL Electric and Pennsylvania Office of Consumer Advocate will be in attendance.

“I’m excited to help bring this opportunity to our community,” said Stender. “Utility bills can be costly, especially to families and senior citizens, so I would encourage anyone who is interested in saving a few dollars to attend this event.”

Registration is not required but recommended. To register, please Stender’s district office at 570-286-5885 or visit repstender.com/events.
